Hubbard Hall Community Contra Dances

Community dances feature traditional New England style folk dancing that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, with no previous dance experience required.  Dances are free and open to the public; donations for Hubbard Hall programs gratefully accepted.

Calling by Fern Bradley and music by the Hubbard Hall Tune Jam Band

March 7: Potluck at 5pm with Dancing 6-8 pm

May 9: Community Maypole and Contra Dance
Maypole dances 4:30 to 5 pm; Pizza Potluck 5:30;
Contra dancing 6:30-8:30 pm

We’ll celebrate spring with traditional dances weaving ribbons around a Maypole! Then we’ll enjoy a pizza potluck supper baked the community bread oven. Following the potluck, we’ll kick up our heels with some great contra and square dances. Pizza $1 per person, please bring some pizza toppings or a side dish to share. In the Freight Depot Theater.
