There are several ways you can help bring traditional music and dance to others and help grow the DanceFlurry community.
Help at a dance by lending a hand with set up, take down, publicity, serving as a welcoming ambassador, and taking photos and videos.
Work with others to make our programs happen by serving
on a committee.
Staff a Booth at Local Events. Love chatting with people? Help at community festivals, farmers markets, or arts events. A friendly face and a simple conversation can go a long way in sparking curiosity!
Take Pictures If you’ve got a phone or camera and are attending one of our events, take some photos and share them with us! A good picture says a million words – and helps us advertise our events.
Share Flyers & Materials Help us get the word out by posting flyers in cafes, libraries, schools, and community boards. Sometimes all it takes is one well-placed flyer to bring in a whole new group of dancers. Share our Facebook and Instagram posts.
Create or Host Online Content Have an idea for a workshop, interview, or short video? Whether it’s teaching a basic step, interviewing a musician, or sharing dance history, online content helps us reach new people and also keeps current members engaged.
Bring Your Own Ideas We want to hear from you about opportunities to connect DFO with a new audience, like through schools, social groups, or creative collaborations.
Volunteer with the DFO — please indicate your interests on this form.
