Capital English Country Dancers Workshop – Teaching Dances to be included on the April 2 Program. Taught by Don Bell with recorded music.

The workshop will teach basic dance figures and preview dances that will be danced at the April 2 event. New dancers are encouraged to attend so that they can quickly improve their dancing skills and get more enjoyment from regular dances. Experienced dancers are encouraged to attend and act as ‘dance angels’ by partnering with new dancers. If you attend the workshop, you will be in a good position to better enjoy the dancing at the next Capital English Country Dance, April 2.

Doors open at 1:30. Workshop is 2:00 – 4:00 PM. The dance workshop is at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Albany (Albany UU), 405 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12206. Donations are requested to cover the hall rent.

Our dance community has always been caring of each other, and this continues as we observe COVID protocols:

-proof of up to date vaccination (original series plus booster if eligible);*
-N95 or KN95 masks worn throughout the event;
-contact tracing phone number or email; and
-remaining at home if you feel ill or have had close contact with a COVID positive person within the past 5 days.

We will ask you to agree to these protocols, shown in more detail in the Participant Agreement.

*case by case medical exemption possible with doctor statement and proof of negative PCR test.
