Memberships and donations support to our efforts to build and sustain traditional music and dance programs in the greater Capital Region. Your contributions help us to:
- Provide a variety of affordable dance events featuring talented musicians and callers
- Offer grants to organizations holding workshops or including traditional dance and music in their events
- Fund Youth scholarships to events such as the annual Flurry Festival and the Adirondack Dance Weekend
- Undertake outreach efforts to continue to attract new audiences
Memberships are for one calendar year – Jan 1 through Dec 31. Members receive discounted admission to DFO dances, the Flurry Festival, Adirondack Dance Weekend, and other special events. Contributions may be eligible for a charitable tax deduction.
The DanceFlurry Organization is a tax-exempt, nonprofit organization with the IRS Employer ID (EIN): 14-1693779. We are registered with the New York State Charities Bureau.
