This group allows coordination between those interested in driving others to DFO events, or requesting rides. All participants will self-match and are responsible for arranging their own rides, choosing partners with whom they feel comfortable and safe, and communicating with carpooling partners. DFO insurance does not cover the liability associated with driving or the arrangement of carpool participants by DFO volunteers or staff. The DFO is not involved in arranging or overseeing carpools, and the rider and driver are solely responsible for their ridesharing choices and their conduct in transit to or from events.
