SUMMARY:Beginners' Workshop in English Country Dancing -- FREE
DESCRIPTION:The workshop will introduce the basic steps and forms of English Country Dancing. No partner is needed! This type of dancing is often depicted in Jane Austen movies and other early 19th century. The workshop is sponsored by Capital English Country Dancers and will be taught by Don Bell. (The session will use recorded music.) \n\n\n\nThe location is at the St. John’s Episcopal Church\, 146 1st Street\, Troy\, New York\, 12180. Admission is free\, although donations are welcome. \n\n\n\nWe have a beautiful wood dance floor. Please wear clean\, flat\, soft-soled dance shoes. \n\n\n\nSt. John’s ECD Workshop\n\n\n\nOur COVID PolicyPlease stay home if you feel sick or have symptoms of CoVid or flu. CECD will notify all attendees if someone reports a Covid diagnosis within a week after a dance.
