SUMMARY:North Berkshire Community Dance
DESCRIPTION:* At the Williamstown location * \n\n\n\nMusic by Raven & Goose\, all the way from the west coast! Calling by Ben Sachs-Hamilton\, larks and robins role terms. \n\n\n\nAdmission is pay-as-you-can:  $5 – $15\, or barter equivalent\, suggested.  \n\n\n\nAs a community dance in a small college town\, we welcome people of all ages and backgrounds into the ever-changing tradition of New England contra dance.  Contra dancing is the contemporary face of a living tradition; some of the dances are hundreds of years old\, some are recently composed. Some of the dances are hundreds of years old\, some are recently composed; all are good fun and a pleasurable occasion for meeting and interacting with people both new and familiar. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome. New dancers and families with children are encouraged to arrive at 7:30 for an introductory lesson. DESCRIPTION:Hudson Community Square Dance with Paul Rosenberg\, Caller\, and tunes by the River City Ramblers \n\n\n\nPromenade your way on down to Time and Space Limited for the 3rd Hudson Community Square Dance! \n\n\n\nFriday\, November 14\, 2025 from 7 to 9 PM  (Doors will open at 6:30 PM) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nImpress your friends! Connect with community through a low-stakes\, raucous evening of traditional dance! Enjoy the ripping sounds of a live Appalachian-style string band! Dance in a movie theatre! \n\n\n\nAll skill levels welcome. No partner necessary. The dance will be called by celebrated caller Paul Rosenberg\, with tunes by the River City Ramblers.
