SUMMARY:Capital English Country Dancers
DESCRIPTION:Our February dance will feature a return of the Early Music Ensemble with Larry Wallach\, harpsichord\, Tricia van Oers\, winds\, and Eric Buddington\, violin.  Our caller\,  Michael Wood\, has selected dances to tunes composed mostly before the 1750s.  If you enjoy dressing up in something elegant\, especially period clothing\, this dance provides a good opportunity for you. \n\n\n\nHere is the program for the event with links to videos of the dances. \n\n\n\nDownload the season flyer here. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 1:30. Beginner workshop is at 1:40. Dance from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. \n\n\n\nRegular Dances: $15\, $12 CECD Members (Membership: $15)Ice Cream Sunday: $17\, $14 CECD Members (includes ice cream sundaes)Season Ticket: $88 (includes Regular Dances + Ice Cream Sunday + Membership) \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe dance is at the Albany Unitarian Universalist Church\, 405 Washington Avenue\, Albany\, NY 12206 (opposite Downtown UAlbany Campus). We have a beautiful wood dance floor.
