Albany Cajun and Zydeco Dances
In light of the public health concerns regarding transmission of the Coronavirus, we are cancelling the Albany Zydeco Dance series for 2020.
The decision to cancel was made after consultation with the Dance Flurry Org. The close proximity of people dancing with one another makes it impossible to overcome the potential for disease transmission. Reducing the spread of the disease at this point is beyond handwashing and use of hand sanitizer – social distancing is the most responsible action at this time. Public health and the health of our dance community is paramount.
The February dance was wildly successful — please keep up your enthusiasm, and expect us to resume in 2021.
We appreciate your understanding and support.
