INSTRUMENT CHECK
Instrument
Check is for ALL musicians at the Flurry
Rooms are located down hall, to the right of the Hotel Lobby desk,
as you come up the steps from the Gallery. Day & night storage, locked at night. See hours listed below.
Instrument Check Room Rules:
- Instruments and performance-related items, ONLY -- No coats, luggage, purses, shopping bags, boots, or other personal items.
- Fill out a tag and receive a receipt stub -- you MUST have the stub to reclaim your instrument!
- Label All Your Items --- Name, address, phone number, so that we may reach you in the unlikely event that it is left behind --- OR --- if someone finds your lost receipt on the floor and comes to claim your instrument. (Hint -- to help staff more quickly find your instrument in the hundreds in the room, tie something bright to the handle to make it easier to spot: i.e. -- "Mine is the guitar case with the orange tie." This makes it easier to see your item among the hundreds, rather than, "It's a black guitar case." )
- Scheduled Performers -- Please allow sufficient time to pick up your instrument before your next event (especially during peak hours on Saturday (10 a.m. -- 6:30 p.m.).
Hours:
Do NOT drop off instruments BEFORE 4pm Friday. The Dance Flurry is not responsible for items left unattended before the rooms are staffed. (IC rooms are locked between 12 a.m. and 9 a.m.).
PLEASE NOTE NEW HOURS -- Doors are locked at MIDNIGHT!*
Friday: 4pm - 12am
Saturday: 9am - 12am
Sunday: 9am - 6pm
* If you are a band/performer playing after midnight, and need to store instruments in the IC rooms, please make arrangements with the IC Crew Chief during the day.
Location & Room Designation:
Two Instrument Check rooms are located in The Saratoga Hotel, down the hallway to the RIGHT as you face the lobby desk (just past the elevators & across from the restrooms):

Lost Instruments:
If you misplace your instrument at the festival, check at both the Information Table's Lost & Found, and at Instrument Check rooms to see if it has been turned in to our staff. Leave a written description at both places, of your case & instrument, and leave your name and where/how you can be reached.
If you return home and find that you've accidentally left your instrument at the Festival, send an email to the Lost & Found Shepherd (lostandfound@danceflurry.org) or to: info@danceflurry.org
You may also call: 518-384-3275 after the festival, to see if it has been turned in.
