OPEN FESTIVAL COMMITTEE POSITIONS

WE NEED YOU! The Flurry Festival cannot run without the help of dedicated, hard working volunteers in our Planning Committee staff. The following open positions require people who will be dedicated to the job, are detail-oriented, can work with others, and are able to make monthly committee meetings (often a Monday night). Some positions require experience. A few are hands-on training, for taking over a position later on.

Time Requirements: Time needs vary, depending on position, ranging from pre-festival, full-time during festival, or both. Scheduling for positions that require full-weekend hours, often allow crew chiefs some time to "get away" and enjoy the festival (being on-call may be required).

Please review the general descriptions below. If interested, email your NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER and WHICH POSITION you are interested in, to . (Or call Festival Info at: 518-384-3275)

Committee Planning Staff receive: 1) a full-festival ticket and one guest pass; 2) the glory of their name in the program book; 3) our undying gratitude (!) and the knowledge that you had a part in keeping traditional music and dance alive.
