Buhrmaster Barn Contra Dance (May-September)
Where: Buhrmaster Barn at the historic Pruyn House in Colonie, New York, 207 Old Niskayuna Road, Colonie (Albany). Map.
When: May- September most 1st/3rd Sundays (check calendar), Potluck Dinner: 5:00 p.m, Dance: 6-9 p.m.
Admission: $9 DFO Members, $10 Non-members, $5 “Limited Income”

Enjoy a tradition of community dancing passed down from generation to generation at barn dances throughout the country. Dance contras and squares to live music on Sundays from mid-May through mid-September.
Directions:
From northbound I-87 (Northway - makes U-turn): at exit 5, go right onto NY route 155 (Watervliet-Shaker Rd.); turn left onto Old Niskayuna Road (just before the overpass); the barn is 0.5 mile on the left, behind the Pruyn House.
From southbound I-87 (Northway): at exit 5, go left onto NY route 155 (Watervliet-Shaker Rd.); turn right onto Old Niskayuna Road (just after the overpass); the barn is 0.5 mile on the left, behind the Pruyn House.
